The upcoming year presents a variety of nonfiction books, including a memoir about a mother's quest for truth after her journalist son's tragic death, a true crime novel about the Stardust tragedy, and an investigation into the mysterious death of a 14-year-old boy. Meanwhile, some of the most anticipated novels include a debut book about a Russian-set novel that has been delayed due to Russia's war on Ukraine, as well as a novel set in Syracuse, Italy in 412 BC and a collection of classic love stories. Additionally, some local authors are expected to make appearances at literary events, such as the 29th Writer’s Symposium by the Sea in February 2024.
