Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav inaugurated a new cardiac catheterization laboratory at AIIMS Raipur, Chhattisgarh, aiming to significantly enhance the hospital's capacity for cardiac procedures, which previously relied on a single lab performing 25 to 30 angiographies weekly. The state-of-the-art facility is expected to reduce patient waiting times and serve as a training ground for DM Cardiology students, fostering new talent in the field. During his visit, Jadhav inspected various departments, including trauma and emergency care, and engaged with the hospital's leadership team. The development of this lab reflects a two-year effort to improve cardiac care at the institute, highlighting the government's commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure. The new lab is also designed to minimize radiation exposure for patients and medical staff. Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal accompanied Jadhav during the inauguration.
