Owen Cooper Stars in Sam Fender Music Video

Owen Cooper, the 15-year-old breakout star of Netflix's Adolescence, is set to appear in the music video for Sam Fender's new single 'Little Bit Closer.' The song, from Fender's album People Watching, was released in February and explores stories of ordinary yet extraordinary lives. Teasers for the music video, posted by Fender on Instagram, show Cooper wrapped in a blanket overlooking a landscape and were confirmed by Adolescence director Philip Barantini, who also directed the video. Cooper's acclaimed performance as Jamie Miller in Adolescence has led to further roles, including young Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights adaptation and a part in Film Club. Critics have praised Cooper's debut as one of the best by a child actor. The official release date for the music video has not yet been announced.
