Two Colombian Musicians Found Dead in Mexico Amid Investigation
The bodies of Colombian musicians Bayron Sánchez, known as B King, and DJ Jorge Luis Herrera, aka Regio Clown, who had been missing since September 16 in Mexico City, were identified in the municipality of Cocotitlán. The two were last seen in the upscale Polanco area and had recently performed in Mexico, although some authorities dispute certain performance locations. Colombian President Gustavo Petro requested assistance from Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum in the search and suggested on social media that their deaths might be linked to an 'international mafia' and criticized current international anti-drug policies. Mexican authorities confirmed the discovery and are conducting forensic tests to officially confirm the identities of the deceased. The incident underscores concerns about violence against artists in connection with anti-drug policies in the region. Both presidents remain engaged in the ongoing investigation to bring clarity and justice to the case.
