Giovanni Pernice to Return in Celebrity Hunted

Giovanni Pernice, previously under investigation by the BBC for bullying allegations, is set to make a television return on Channel 4's Celebrity Hunted. The BBC inquiry, initiated after accusations by actress Amanda Abbington, cleared Pernice of ten out of sixteen complaints, with six allegations of inappropriate behavior upheld. Despite considerations to cut his scenes, Channel 4 has decided to air the series in January 2025. Pernice, who has been performing on Italy's Ballando Con Le Stelle, announced a UK theater tour with Anton Du Beke, starting January. The BBC found no evidence of violence or intimidation in their final report but noted instances of 'inappropriate sexual banter' and 'belittling language' in the workplace. Giovanni remains optimistic about his future, expressing excitement over his TV and theater engagements.
