Amber Heard to Star at Williamstown Festival

Amber Heard is returning to acting after a three-year hiatus, following her legal battle with Johnny Depp and a period living privately in Madrid. She will star in the world premiere of Jeremy O. Harris' play, Spirit of the People, at the 2025 Williamstown Theatre Festival, alongside Brandon Flynn and Lío Mehiel. The production, directed by Katina Medina Mora, explores themes of land and destruction and is partly performed in Spanish. Heard recently announced the birth of her twins, who join her four-year-old daughter Oonagh. This marks her first major role since her 2023 appearances in In the Fire and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The festival production features an acclaimed ensemble cast and is seen as a significant step in Heard's career resurgence.
