Penn State Receives $10 Million Donation for Beaver Stadium Renovation

Penn State has received a $10 million donation for its Beaver Stadium renovation project, marking the second eight-figure gift in a week, following a $25 million contribution from the Misitano family and PAM Health. The $700 million renovation aims to modernize the 107,000-seat stadium, with major changes planned for the West side, including the construction of a new West Tower featuring luxury suites and enhanced fan amenities. Both donations qualify as 'Founders Gifts,' which will be recognized in a plaza outside the stadium upon completion in 2027. Athletic director Pat Kraft expressed gratitude for the support, highlighting the donors' commitment to Penn State athletics. The project, approved by the Board of Trustees in May, is touted as the most significant venue renovation in modern college sports history, aiming to preserve the stadium's heritage while improving the overall experience for fans. The renovations are expected to begin after the 2024 season and will include various upgrades to facilities and amenities.
