Starting in the 2026 Formula 1 season, McLaren will rebrand as the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team following a significant multi-year naming rights deal with Mastercard, reportedly worth $100 million per season. This partnership, announced ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix, will introduce 'Team Priceless,' an initiative designed to enhance fan engagement with exclusive experiences such as on-track hot laps and driver meet-and-greets. McLaren CEO Zak Brown emphasized the importance of fans and praised Mastercard as a partner sharing the team's passion and values, aiming to elevate McLaren's performance both on and off the track. Currently, McLaren enjoys a dominant 2025 season, leading the Constructors' Championship by 299 points and with drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris leading the Drivers' Championship standings. Both drivers and Mastercard's Chief Marketing Officer highlighted the enhanced fan connection through this partnership.
