Gonzalez allegedly struck Moore's kayak while recklessly operating a jet ski, then fled the scene with Perozo, hitting other vehicles in their escape attempt. Authorities confirmed both suspects entered the U.S. via the southern border in 2023 or 2024 and were released pending immigration court hearings.
