Little Rock's iconic dive bar, Town Pump, is reopening under new management by the Barnaby Group, known for George's Little Rock. The reopening on August 21 will feature an upgraded menu by Culinary Director Wes Mickel, including a weekday Amaro Hour and Sunday brunch specials, while retaining the bar's original grit and popular offerings like burgers, wings, and cold beer. Programming will include karaoke nights, trivia, bingo, bar Olympics, and live performances by local artists, aiming to preserve the bar's soul while enhancing the food and overall experience. The management emphasized they fixed what needed fixing but kept the essential elements that have made Town Pump a local staple for six decades. This reopening marks a continuation of Town Pump’s legacy, blending tradition with fresh culinary and community engagement. The bar will operate Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight at 1321 Rebsamen Park Road.
