Singapore Airlines Upgrades Premium Cabins

Singapore Airlines is set to invest $1.1 billion in upgrading its fleet, focusing on enhancing its first-class and business-class offerings across 41 Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The retrofit will introduce first-class suites with private doors on ultra-long-range flights, as well as redesigned business-class cabins that prioritize passenger privacy and comfort. This initiative is in response to evolving customer preferences and aims to reaffirm the airline's status as a leader in luxury travel. The upgrades will include improved inflight entertainment, new seat designs, and adjustments to the cabin layout to enhance overall passenger experience. The first retrofitted aircraft is expected to launch in mid-2026, with completion of the fleet renovations by the end of 2030. Singapore Airlines will also revamp its lounges, further enhancing the pre-flight experience for travelers.
