Miami Teen Arrested After Shooting Stepbrother in Clothing Dispute

A 16-year-old boy in Miami was arrested after shooting his 13-year-old stepbrother during a dispute over clothing at their home in the Wynwood neighborhood. The older teen had put on the younger boy's clothes, leading to an argument in which he pulled out a gun to scare his stepbrother; the gun accidentally discharged, striking the younger boy in the left shoulder. The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital and is expected to recover fully. Police charged the 16-year-old with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a minor, and grand theft of a firearm after discovering the gun used in the shooting was stolen.
