Multiple US School Districts Hold Large Back-to-School Fairs Distributing Thousands of Supplies

Several school districts and community organizations across the U.S. are hosting back-to-school fairs to provide students with school supplies and additional support ahead of the new academic year. East Aurora School District 131 will hold a fair on August 9 featuring free backpacks, a petting zoo, food trucks, and haircuts. In Bakersfield, the 16th annual Ready-Set Back 2 School Health and Wellness Fair distributed over 4,000 backpacks, supported by donations from local credit unions and community groups. Brownsville ISD's event on August 9 will offer free backpacks, immunizations, dental screenings, haircuts, and a bike rodeo, with participation from over 60 community agencies. Columbus County is hosting multiple back-to-school festivities throughout August, including supply giveaways, health screenings, and family-friendly activities such as games and food trucks. Raleigh County Schools in West Virginia will hold their Wellness & Community Outreach Fair on August 15, providing school supplies and fostering community engagement to support students' success.
