Tesla is set to supply Megapack batteries for France's largest battery energy storage system, Project Chevire, in Nantes Saint-Nazaire Harbour, capable of powering 170,000 homes for two hours. Harmony Energy, in collaboration with Tesla, aims to enhance energy security and grid decarbonization. The project, expected to be completed by 2025, repurposes a former fossil-fuel power station site. With a booming battery business, Tesla's Energy division reported record deployments and significant contracts, potentially rivaling its automotive sector in revenue.
