Resolution Games Unveils Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked

Resolution Games has announced 'Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked', a new game developed in collaboration with Wizards of the Coast that combines the tactical gameplay of Demeo with the lore and mechanics of Dungeons & Dragons. This DM-less game allows players to engage in cooperative battles without requiring a Dungeon Master, making it more accessible for newcomers while still appealing to seasoned players. The game will launch with two story-driven campaigns, and additional campaigns are planned post-launch, although details on whether these will be free or paid remain unclear. It supports cross-platform multiplayer for up to four players and aims to enhance the social strategy aspect of tabletop gaming. Resolution Games CEO Tommy Palm emphasized the growing relationship with the D&D community since the launch of Demeo in 2021, while Wizards of the Coast's Eugene Evans highlighted the focus on fast-paced turn-based mechanics. 'Battlemarked' is set to be available on multiple platforms, with specific release details yet to be announced.
