Met Police Officer Faces Additional Sexual Offence Charges

PC Dion Arnold, a Metropolitan Police officer, has been charged with multiple sexual offences, including four counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration, and one count of sexual assault, following an investigation by Surrey Police. These charges pertain to conduct while Arnold was off duty, based on a report made earlier this year. Arnold was arrested on March 29 and appeared at Guildford Magistrates' Court on March 31, where he was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear at Guildford Crown Court on May 1. The Met Police's Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed, and Arnold is currently suspended from duty.
