Virginia High School League alters state tournament schedule amid winter storm

Due to anticipated inclement weather, various sporting events across the United States have announced schedule changes. Meanwhile, the Ole Miss softball team postponed Thursday's games at the Rocket City Softball Showcase, rescheduling some for Friday and Sunday. Oklahoma softball also adjusted its Norman Tournament, shifting the schedule from Thursday-Sunday to Saturday-Monday, which will include doubleheaders on both weekend days. The Oklahoma Sooners, ranked No. 3, will start their tournament against Abilene Christian on Saturday. All changes aim to prioritize the safety of players and spectators amid adverse weather conditions.
