Charity Drives Expand Across US and UK

Several food distribution initiatives are taking place across the United States and the UK to support those in need. FareShare Sussex and Surrey are seeking volunteers and donations for their festive collections at Tesco supermarkets, having previously collected 16 tonnes of food. In Alaska, Bear Valley Elementary students have donated significant amounts to the Alaska Food Bank, aiming to surpass last year's contribution of 5,700 pounds. Compassion Ministries, with Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee, will distribute food in Newport, expecting to aid 500-600 families. Farm Share will conduct drive-thru distributions in Macclenny and Lake Butler, Florida. Additionally, a couple in El Dorado continues to delight the community with their annual Christmasville event, showcasing a festive display of decorated trees and miniature houses.
