Phillies Place Third Baseman Alec Bohm on Injured List with Fractured Rib, Recall Weston Wilson

Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to a fractured left rib sustained when he was hit by a 92-mph pitch from Yu Darvish on July 12. Bohm initially missed the final game before the All-Star break and returned to play briefly before reporting ongoing discomfort, leading to medical imaging that confirmed the fracture. To fill Bohm's roster spot, the Phillies recalled utility player Weston Wilson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley, who will provide additional flexibility at third base alongside Otto Kemp and Edmundo Sosa. Manager Rob Thomson indicated that third base playing time will be shared among Kemp, Sosa, Bryson Stott, and Wilson while Bohm recovers.
