Russian Bombing Strikes Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk Region, Causes Casualties

Russian forces launched aerial attacks on several Ukrainian cities, including Zaporizhzhia and Slavyansk, resulting in civilian casualties and significant property damage. In Zaporizhzhia, two FAB-500 bombs struck residential and infrastructure sites, damaging six apartment buildings and injuring at least 26 people, including four children; a 69-year-old woman was killed in the attack. The Ukrainian Red Cross Society is providing first aid, psychological support, and evacuation assistance to those affected in Zaporizhzhia. In Slavyansk, Russian bombs killed a 74-year-old man and injured a 72-year-old woman, with 17 private houses reported damaged. Local authorities have urged residents in the Donetsk region to evacuate for safety, while Ukrainian emergency and police teams continue rescue and investigative operations. These attacks have been legally classified as war crimes under Ukrainian law.
