The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Jovani Rodriguez, was apprehended about 12 hours later by Goliad County authorities. Police describe the shooting as an isolated incident stemming from a dispute, with no ongoing threat to the public.
