Three Children Arrested on Suspicion of Murder Isle of Sheppey

Three teenagers—a 16-year-old girl and two boys aged 14 and 15—have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in his 40s at Leysdown-on-Sea on the Isle of Sheppey. The incident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on Sunday at Warden Bay Road during an altercation in which the man sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency services, including an air ambulance, responded to the scene, and a police cordon has been established around the area near the beach and a caravan park. Witnesses reported that the man may have been struck with a concrete slab, and a local resident was praised for attempting to save the victim. Kent Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to assist the ongoing investigation. The suspects remain in custody as detectives continue their inquiries.
