Angels finalize contract agreement with pitcher Zach Plesac

The Los Angeles Angels are close to signing 29-year-old right-handed pitcher Zach Plesac to a contract. Plesac struggled last season and was demoted to Triple-A, where he also struggled. However, in 2019-20, he showed promise by posting a 3.32 ERA and 1.09 WHIP over 29 starts. If Plesac can regain his previous form, he could provide depth as a middle-to-back rotation starter for the Angels.
