Eight Injured in Russian Drone Strike in Nikopol

A Russian drone strike on the central market in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, injured eight people on December 26, according to local authorities. Seven of the injured were hospitalized, with three in critical condition, including women aged 39, 63, and 64. This incident follows a series of drone attacks, including one on Christmas Day that resulted in one death in the region. The Ukrainian military reported shooting down 20 out of 31 drones launched by Russia overnight, indicating ongoing hostilities. Governor Serhiy Lysak stated that emergency responders provided immediate assistance to the injured.
