Nashville Airport Adds Reykjavik and Dublin Flights

Nashville International Airport (BNA) has launched two new nonstop international routes to Dublin and Reykjavik, marking a significant milestone in its expansion of international travel. Aer Lingus' first-ever nonstop flight from Nashville to Dublin began with a festive celebration, symbolizing the cultural ties between the two cities. Meanwhile, Icelandair commenced its service to Reykjavik earlier than planned due to high demand, offering flights four times a week. These new routes, supported by approximately $10 million in incentives, are expected to generate up to $102.3 million in economic impact for Tennessee in their first year. The introduction of these flights aligns with both Aer Lingus and Icelandair's broader North American expansion strategies. These developments transform BNA into a growing hub for international travel, which previously had only one European route.
