Sydney Gang Shooting at M Brothers Kebab Shop

A daylight shooting at the M Brothers kebab shop near Auburn Station in Sydney on June 16 left three people seriously injured, including alleged gang figure Samimjan Azari, another man, and a 50-year-old female employee who was an innocent bystander. Two masked gunmen entered the busy restaurant just after 1pm, fired eight shots, and fled in a stolen vehicle with cloned plates. Police believe Azari was the intended target, linking the attack to ongoing gangland violence in Sydney. The shooting caused panic among lunchtime crowds in the crowded area. Taskforce Falcon, a special unit targeting violent crime, is leading the investigation, which also includes probing possible connections to a series of suspicious car fires. NSW Police have condemned the attack and pledged significant resources to apprehend those responsible.
