Former ICE Agent Sentenced for Child Enticement

Koby Don Williams, a former Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, has been sentenced to 11 years and three months in federal prison for attempting to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex. Williams, 49, from Ellensburg, was arrested in July 2022 after responding to a Craigslist ad set up by undercover law enforcement posing as a minor. He communicated with the decoy, referred to as 'Rebecca', discussing sexual acts and payment before arriving at a hotel where he was met by officers. Authorities discovered his ICE badge, over $4,000 in cash, and erectile dysfunction medication in his vehicle. Despite his claims of intending to 'rescue' the girl, a jury found him guilty of attempted online enticement. U.S. Attorney Vanessa R. Waldref emphasized the breach of trust Williams committed as a law enforcement officer, stating he tried to use his position to justify his actions.
