John Lennon’s Mind Games Receives New Mixes

John Lennon’s classic 1973 album 'Mind Games' is being reimagined through a project overseen by his son, Sean Ono Lennon, titled 'Mind Games – The Meditation Mixes'. Set for release on October 11, just after their shared birthdays, this limited edition will include nine meditative mixes and nine 1.8-second mantras that create infinite loops on the vinyl. The project aims to offer listeners an immersive and relaxing experience, highlighting a blend of musical elements and binaural sound designed to activate different brain patterns. Following the success of 'Mind Games – The Ultimate Collection', which was released in July, the upcoming mixes utilize advanced sound design techniques on the original recordings. The vinyl will feature 180-gram crystal clear records packaged in a triple gatefold sleeve, enhancing the aesthetic experience. Sean describes the mixes as abstract interpretations meant to assist listeners in exploring their 'Innerverse.'
