Sophia Hutchins Dies in ATV Crash Near Malibu Home

Sophia Hutchins, the 29-year-old manager and longtime friend of Caitlyn Jenner, tragically died in an ATV crash near Jenner's Malibu home on July 2. According to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Hutchins was driving a 2013 Polaris ATV when she collided with the rear bumper of a moving vehicle, causing her ATV to veer off the road and fall 350 feet into a ravine. Emergency responders used drones to locate Hutchins, but she was pronounced dead at the scene, while the occupants of the other vehicle were unharmed. Hutchins had been close to Jenner since 2015, serving as her manager and living with her since 2017, though she denied any romantic involvement with Jenner. Footage of the crash site shows the overturned blue ATV resting atop another vehicle previously crashed in the same area. Authorities are awaiting toxicology reports to determine if intoxication was a factor in the accident.
