Six-Month-Old Dies After Pram Hit By Car

An inquest has revealed that six-month-old Sophia Kelemen died from a head injury after her pram was struck by a car in a multi-storey car park in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, on January 2. She was airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales but succumbed to her injuries the following day, with the cause of death identified as 'intracranial haemorrhage' due to the collision. Flaviu Naghi, 33, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and is set to appear in court on February 7. The assistant coroner has expressed condolences to Sophia's family, who were on holiday at the time of the incident. The family has also begun fundraising efforts to cover funeral costs and repatriate Sophia's body to Romania. The inquest has been adjourned to allow for further police investigations.
