A British woman is spending Christmas Day in a Thai prison after allegedly attempting to have sex on a glass table in a hotel lobby in Pattaya, resulting in the table's shattering. The incident occurred around 3 am at the Flipper Lodge Hotel, where she and her partner, who were not hotel guests, were first observed behaving inappropriately on a sofa. After the glass table broke, hotel staff attempted to escort them out, but the couple resisted, leading to police involvement. Footage captured the woman hurling insults at officers as she was arrested, while her boyfriend reportedly slipped away unnoticed. Police Lieutenant General Ittikorn Saikratok stated that she remains intoxicated and incoherent, with no identification on her, complicating the situation further. Hotel staff plan to file a crime report for the damages caused during the disturbance.
