Social Hardware Raises INR 3.2 Crore in Seed Funding

Social Hardware, a Bengaluru-based innovation startup focused on assistive devices and teleoperated robotics, has secured INR 3.2 crore in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, with participation from Ivyleague Ventures and Soonicorn Ventures. The funding will support growth initiatives, including enhancing R&D and manufacturing capabilities, and building a strong marketing and sales team. Founded by Abhit Kumar, Cameron Norris, and Raghavendran Arunachalam, the company aims to improve safety and operational efficiency in hazardous industries like manufacturing, defense, and aerospace. Social Hardware plans to triple its production capacity from 12 to 36 units by FY 2025-26, targeting a revenue of INR 24.76 crore. This investment positions the company to capitalize on the growing demand for remote-controlled robotics solutions, anticipated to reach USD 22.5 billion by 2026.
