Davina McCall's Recovery After Brain Surgery

TV presenter Davina McCall, 57, recently underwent successful surgery to remove a rare benign brain tumour known as a colloid cyst, which was 14mm wide and necessitated a craniotomy due to its potential complications. The tumour was discovered during a routine health check, and McCall shared her journey on her Making The Cut podcast, expressing her focus on 'love, love, love' before the operation. Her partner, Michael Douglas, reported that she made an 'enormous leap forward' in her recovery and is now out of ICU. This experience has posed a significant challenge for McCall, adding to her history of overcoming personal hardships, including a difficult childhood and past addiction. Despite these challenges, she remains optimistic, planning to take two months off and learn a song for Christmas as part of her recovery.
