American Airlines Plans Flagship, Admirals Club Expansion at Charlotte Douglas

American Airlines is significantly enhancing its premium customer experience at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) by introducing a new Flagship lounge and expanding its existing Admirals Club lounges. This development marks the first arrival of the Flagship lounge experience at CLT, offering luxury amenities such as a champagne greeting upon arrival and locally inspired menus curated by award-winning chefs. The airline currently operates three lounges at CLT, including Admirals Clubs in Concourses B and C/D and the innovative Provisions by Admirals Club grab-and-go lounge in Concourse A. The new facilities are designed with distinct areas tailored to traveler needs, including bar and dining spaces, private villas with spa-style shower suites, workstations, and family-friendly rooms. This investment reflects American Airlines' commitment to providing world-class services at one of its busiest hubs and supports the growth of the Charlotte region, where American also employs thousands of team members and where one of its regional partners is relocating headquarters.
