Sierra Ferrell Wins Big at Americana Awards

The 23rd annual Americana Honors & Awards, held at the Ryman Auditorium, celebrated the genre's rich history and acknowledged the talents of various artists. Sierra Ferrell was the standout winner, taking home both Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for her LP 'Trail of Flowers.' The Emerging Act of the Year award went to The Red Clay Strays, while Grace Bowers, an 18-year-old guitarist, was honored as Instrumentalist of the Year. Brandy Clark won Song of the Year for 'Dear Insecurity,' featuring Brandi Carlile. Larkin Poe was recognized as Duo/Group of the Year, contributing to a night that showcased diverse roots-oriented music.
