Dayton edges Davidson 69-63, wins tenth straight matchup

The game turned in Dayton's favor after a technical foul was called on Davidson's Hunter Adam in the final minute, allowing Javon Bennett to tie the game with free throws. Bennett then scored a layup to give Dayton a decisive 64-61 lead with 46 seconds left, and the team finished strong, making five of six free throws to seal the win. Amaël L'Etang, Javon Bennett, and Nate Santos each contributed 13 points for the Flyers, while Davidson's Reed Bailey led his team with 19 points. Dayton improved to 16-7 overall and 6-4 in the Atlantic 10, positioning themselves in fourth place. The Flyers will next face VCU at home on Friday.
