Investigation into Skeletal Remains in Houston, Allentown, Birmingham

Houston police are investigating the discovery of skeletal remains found in an abandoned vehicle at 5101 Tidwell Road. A passerby alerted officers to the presence of a deceased person inside the locked SUV, where the remains were located on the passenger side, showing no obvious signs of trauma. The identity, gender, and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, and an autopsy is awaited to determine the manner and cause of death. This investigation follows a similar case in Houston where a deceased man was found on the sidewalk, with authorities also pending an autopsy for that case. In a separate incident in Birmingham, Alabama, skeletal remains were discovered after a brush fire, prompting an investigation by local police. Lehigh County officials are also working to identify skeletal remains of a man found in Allentown, with no suspicion of foul play.
