'Pretty Little Liars' reboot

Max has officially canceled the Pretty Little Liars reboot series after two seasons, titled 'Original Sin' and 'Summer School'. The network acknowledged the creative efforts of co-creators Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, thanking them and the cast for their contributions to the series, which aimed to blend horror elements with the original show's legacy. Despite critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base, the show will not continue, marking the end of this iteration of the franchise, which began in 2022. The series followed a new generation of characters in Millwood, facing threats from a mysterious antagonist, 'A', while also exploring themes of trauma and friendship. This reboot was the fourth installment in the Pretty Little Liars franchise, which began with the original series airing from 2010 to 2017. All episodes of the canceled series remain available for streaming on Max.
