Encompass Health Plans Rehab Hospital in North Las Vegas

Encompass Health has announced plans to build a new 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in North Las Vegas, Nevada, expected to open by 2028 as its fourth facility in the state. The hospital will offer specialized care including 24-hour nursing, physical, occupational, and speech therapies for patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic and neurological disorders. Amenities will feature private patient rooms, a therapy gym with advanced rehabilitation technologies, an in-house dialysis suite, pharmacy, dining area, and a therapeutic courtyard. The project is part of Encompass Health's expansion strategy, which also includes recent facility announcements in Florida and Utah, and leverages its strong financial performance. The company's national network currently comprises 168 hospitals across 38 states and Puerto Rico. The North Las Vegas project remains subject to regulatory approvals.
