Chipotle Launches Drone Delivery Pilot in Dallas Area

Customers can order through the Zipline app, with food prepared at the Rowlett Chipotle location, loaded into a special container, and delivered by quiet, zero-emission drones that autonomously avoid obstacles and lower orders gently to recipients. Zipotle operates between noon and 8 p.m. local time and is expected to expand more broadly in the coming weeks.
