Ellen Pompeo in Hulu's 'Good American Family'

Hulu has released first-look images and announced a premiere date for 'Good American Family', a new drama series starring Ellen Pompeo in her first role since 'Grey's Anatomy'. Inspired by the true story of the Barnett family and the controversial Natalia Grace case, the series follows a Midwestern couple who adopt a girl with a rare form of dwarfism, only to suspect she might be an adult posing as a child. This complex narrative is told from multiple perspectives, exploring themes of bias, trauma, and perspective, with the plot eventually unfolding in the courtroom and tabloids. The eight-episode series premieres on March 19, 2025, with two episodes, followed by weekly releases. Pompeo, initially hesitant due to the challenging nature of the role, embraced it to showcase her range as an actor. The series is produced by 20th Television and features Mark Duplass, Imogen Reid, and several notable guest stars.
