Sharath Kamal Retires After Illustrious Table Tennis Career

Indian table tennis legend Achanta Sharath Kamal has announced his retirement, with his last professional event being the WTT Contender in Chennai from March 25 to 30. At 42, Sharath Kamal remains the highest-ranked Indian table tennis player, having achieved an illustrious career with 13 Commonwealth Games medals, including seven golds, and two Asian Games bronze medals. Despite not winning an Olympic medal, he hopes to inspire the next generation of players to achieve this goal.
