Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Launches Punch-Hole Cameras, Drops Under-Display Technology

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 will notably abandon under-display camera (UDC) technology in favor of traditional punch-hole cameras on both the inner and outer displays, aiming to improve selfie image quality despite the visible camera holes. The Fold 7 is expected to be Samsung's thinnest foldable yet at around 3.9mm unfolded, benefiting from design innovations seen in the Galaxy S25 Edge, including a redesigned motherboard and camera components, which help reduce thickness without sacrificing performance.
