Maeda Header Ends Motherwell's 14-Game Unbeaten Run
Daizen Maeda headed a 92nd-minute winner as Celtic came from behind to beat Motherwell 3-2 at Celtic Park. Kelechi Iheanacho had opened from the spot before Apostolos Stamatelopoulos struck twice for Motherwell; the equaliser arrived after a loose pass by goalkeeper Calum Ward allowed substitute Benjamin Nygren to score, and Michel-Ange Balikwisha's late cross set up Maeda. The win ended Motherwell's 14-match unbeaten run and handed manager Jens Berthel Askou his first defeat at Celtic Park. It moved Celtic to within two points of Premiership leaders Hearts ahead of the international break and was Brendan Rodgers' 200th victory in charge of the club.
