Four Taco Stands Robbed in South Bay

A series of violent armed robberies targeting taco stands in the South Bay area of Los Angeles occurred overnight, with at least four incidents reported within an hour. The first robbery took place at 11:40 p.m. at Torrance Boulevard and Denker Avenue, where three to four armed men assaulted vendors and stole around $500. Subsequent robberies followed at 11:52 p.m. and 12:20 a.m., with one incident resulting in injuries to a vendor, who was hospitalized. The suspects, described as a group of masked men, fled the scenes in a dark vehicle without a license plate. Police believe the robberies are related and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The total amount of money stolen is still unclear, and the suspects remain at large.
