Smallest.ai, a full-stack enterprise voice AI platform founded in 2023, has raised $8 million in seed funding led by Sierra Ventures with participation from 3one4 Capital and Better Capital to accelerate its global expansion and product innovation. The company plans to deploy half of the funds toward developing its next-generation multimodal model, 'Hydra', and the other half to expand its presence in India and North America, targeting regulated sectors such as banking, financial services, healthcare, retail, and IT. Smallest.ai's proprietary platform integrates speech recognition, natural language understanding, and speech synthesis to enable real-time, human-grade voice interactions with ultra-low latency, supporting over 100 voices and multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and Spanish, with plans to add more Indian languages. The startup has reported significant growth, with 300% expansion in the U.S. market and 150% year-on-year growth in India, serving clients like Paytm, MakeMyTrip, ServiceNow, and Dalmia Cement, and aims to position itself as a global leader in enterprise voice automation. Apoorv Sood recently joined as Global Head of Go-To-Market to lead enterprise partnerships and accelerate adoption worldwide.
