Warner Robins Offers Sandbags Ahead of Helene

The City of Warner Robins is distributing sandbags and sand to residents ahead of Hurricane Helene, which is expected to bring heavy rainfall and potential flooding. Distribution will take place on September 25 and 26 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Public Works Department, located at 210 Bay Street. Each household is limited to 10 sandbags to ensure fair access for all residents. City officials encourage residents to utilize this resource to mitigate flood risks. Meanwhile, residents in Clearwater, Florida are also preparing by filling sandbags as the hurricane approaches the state.
