Sudan secured their qualification with a goalless draw against Angola, finishing second in Group F with eight points. The team notably defeated Ghana 2-0 in a pivotal match, marking a stark contrast to Ghana's disastrous campaign, where they finished bottom of their group without a single win. Gabon also qualified for the tournament after defeating the Central African Republic 1-0, ending their qualifiers with ten points. Meanwhile, the Central African Republic has now gone five games without a win, failing to qualify for AFCON. The tournament will take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, in Morocco.
