Miley Cyrus Drops New Tracks from 'Something Beautiful'

Miley Cyrus has released two tracks, 'Prelude' and 'Something Beautiful,' from her upcoming album, 'Something Beautiful,' scheduled for release on May 30. 'Prelude' is a spoken-word piece with orchestral elements that sets the thematic tone for the album, while 'Something Beautiful' is a love song that transitions from a traditional ballad to a rock-heavy chorus. The album, executive-produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, is described as a 'bold' visual album with cinematic elements, inspired by Pink Floyd's 'The Wall.' Cyrus collaborated with her boyfriend, Maxx Morando, among others, and directed the music videos alongside Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter. Cyrus is seen in the visuals wearing archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, emphasizing the album's visual storytelling aspect. The album follows her 2023 release, 'Endless Summer Vacation,' which earned her a Grammy for 'Flowers.'
