Warner Bros. Discovery is developing a new spinoff series from 'The Big Bang Theory' for its Max streaming platform, with co-creator Chuck Lorre attached as executive producer. The project has secured holding deals for three fan-favorite characters: Kevin Sussman as Stuart Bloom, Brian Posehn as Bert Kibbler, and Lauren Lapkus as Denise, although the series has yet to receive official approval to proceed. This spinoff follows a successful trajectory for the 'Big Bang Theory' franchise, which has seen continued popularity since the original show concluded in 2019. The new series aims to capture the comedic essence of the original, with a potential focus on Stuart’s comic book store and his interactions with Lapkus's character. Additionally, another spinoff titled 'Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage' is set to premiere soon. While Lorre remains optimistic, he has noted that the project is still in its early stages and has not provided further details.
